Best Interview Experience I’ve Had – Truly Exceptional Team
I recently completed the interview process for a senior-level role at StrongDM, and I can confidently say it was one of the most thoughtful, professional, and human-centered experiences I’ve had in my career.
From the very first interaction, Lindsey stood out as a rare recruiter—empathetic, responsive, and genuinely invested in the candidate experience. In an industry full of rushed or impersonal recruiting processes, she was a breath of fresh air.
The interview process itself was well-organized and efficient. From initial outreach to final offer, everything wrapped up within about five weeks—an impressive timeline for a senior role. I had the opportunity to meet multiple key stakeholders, each of whom was sharp, kind, and clearly passionate about the work and the mission. There was a presentation component, but it was thoughtfully scoped and not an overwhelming lift.
StrongDM extended an incredibly generous offer, with a compelling comp package and benefits. Ultimately, due to some personal changes on my end, I had to decline the role—but it was a very tough decision. In another set of circumstances, I would have jumped at the chance to join this team.
If you're considering a role at StrongDM, know that you're dealing with one of the best recruiting and interview experiences out there. I have nothing but respect for the company, the people, and the process.
