Brief, 20-30 minute, in person interview. I went in person to the restaurant to pick up an application. I filled it out at home and brought it back. They called the same day and asked me to come in for an interview the following day. I was offered the job on the spot.

I submitted my application to the restaurant and the next day I got a call for an interview later in the week. I arrived and we met in the side room where they were not serving guests at the time. I came with my resume and reference sheet. I wore business casual attire (which is what the hostess wears).
