🌿 Supporting communities, protecting ecosystems. We recently supported the Friends of the Liesbeek by hosting their AGM at our Cape Town office. With around 65 attendees, the session was a valuable opportunity to reflect on collective efforts to protect and rehabilitate the Liesbeek River that runs alongside our office. How we’re helping their vital work: 🌱 A R32,000 donation to Friends of the Liesbeek for river rehabilitation and environmental education 🌱 Indigenous tree donations to replace alien species along the riverbanks 🌱 Collaboration with our landlord on restoring the Liesbeek adjacent to our office park 🌱 Monthly volunteer opportunities for our team and their families to join clean-ups Together, we’re committed to fostering measurable environmental benefits and building a culture of responsibility and resilience. 👏 Thank you to the Friends of the Liesbeek for your partnership. We’re proud to support your mission.
🌱 Taking action for the environment, helping our local ecosystems thrive. As part of our global volunteering program, our teams in Auckland and Wellington spent a day cultivating native habitats by planting 513 trees and plants. 🌿 Auckland: 395 native trees and plants planted to help restore the Papakura Stream catchment 🌿 Wellington: 118 native trees and plants planted in Belmont Regional Park, supporting vital habitats for manu (birds), mokomoko (lizards), and pepeke (insects). A huge thank you to everyone who gave their time and energy. Together, we’re helping restore and protect New Zealand’s unique natural environment.
Distributing gifts and joy with the Santa Shoebox Project. Members of our marketing team in Cape Town dedicated their volunteer time to the Santa Shoebox Project, an incredible initiative that collects and shares gifts and essential items to underprivileged children across South Africa. The project relies on many hands to deliver thousands of boxes each year. From greeting generous donors at drop-off, to checking gift lists, and loading boxes for delivery, our team contributed wherever needed. Thank you to the Santa Shoebox Project and all the volunteers helping to make this Christmas special for so many children.
🚪✨ Knowing when to say “no” is a powerful skill. It creates space to say “yes” to the right opportunities. We launched our Women's Accelerator Network in New Zealand with an engaging and eye-opening masterclass by Kristen Lunman from Powrsuit on the art of “Saying ‘No’ so You Can Say Yes!” In today’s world, the ‘busy-ness’ epidemic is real - blurred boundaries from flexible work, caregiving responsibilities, always-on tech, and workplace pressures can leave women overworked and undervalued. Kristen showed that this isn’t about saying no to everything, it’s about declining unfair burdens so you can say yes to projects, new roles, speaking opportunities, and professional development. Learning to say no strategically can unlock incredible benefits - helping others to step up (rather than you stepping in), creating high-performing teams, focusing on the work that truly adds value, and making sure invisible work is seen and valued. A huge thank you to Kristen Lunman and everyone who joined us to make our launch so inspiring. 🟣 Join our community of change makers. 🌍 Championing future global talent in Valencia! 🌟 We were proud to take part in the BecomeGlobal program, funded by Erasmus+, by welcoming a group of inspiring and talented students from Colombia and Chile to our Valencia office. These bright future professionals were selected to join an international knowledge exchange between universities. Invited by our long-standing partner, CEU Cardenal Herrera University, we had the opportunity to showcase how a career with us can reflect their individual passions, ambitions, and energy. Valencia Branch Manager, Alejandra Corona, joined by the local management team – Raquel Pérez Yusta, Martina Miccichè, and Nicole Hacket – led an engaging session introducing our services, culture, and values, giving students a first-hand look at what it means to be part of our global team leading a new era in financial services. Together, we can inspire tomorrow’s changemakers – thank you to everyone who helped spark the start of their journey.
Giving back to nature with Jersey Trees for Life! Thank you to Clarke Dumbrell and Willard Bwanaisa from our Jersey office, who recently spent the morning volunteering with Jersey Trees for Life – the island's only charity dedicated to trees. Supporting vital reforestation efforts, they helped care for newly planted saplings, clearing weeds, and watering trees to give them the best chance to thrive. As part of our global initiative to support positive environmental and community impact, every permanent employee receives two paid days of leave per year to dedicate to volunteer for causes they care about. We’re proud to support causes like Jersey Trees for Life that are driving positive change for our environment and local communities.

A stronger, more balanced economy starts with more female investors. We recently sponsored an event hosted by Epic Angels – a network of women investors driving positive change in the investment space. By championing female-led startups, Epic Angels’ mission aligns with one of our core CSR commitments – to empower women through economic opportunity. Supporting initiatives like Epic Angels is one way we can help create space for more women to thrive as founders, investors, and leaders. The event was also a great opportunity to share information about our Women’s Accelerator Network in Hong Kong, which is creating a momentum for change in the financial services space.
