Learning, curiosity, and real world technology! Recently, we welcomed a group of students to Factory 5 in Struer to give them a closer look at how robotics and automation are part of everyday work at Bang and Olufsen. Guided by our colleague Jonas, the students explored how robots are programmed, how automation supports precision, and how technology works hand in hand with craftsmanship in a real production environment. The visit sparked great questions and meaningful conversations and reminded us how valuable it is to see our work through fresh, curious eyes. Opening our doors to students reflects how we work as a company. We share knowledge, learn by doing, and take pride in combining technology with human expertise. It is also a reminder that our people make the difference, not just in what we produce, but in how we pass our knowledge on. Moments like these are a natural part of life at Bang and Olufsen.
This March, we kicked off our Spring Career Tour, six initiatives taking place throughout March. It was a beautiful start. Our colleagues met curious and talented candidates from across different business domains, and the day was filled with inspiring conversations about careers, craftsmanship, and what it’s really like to work at Bang & Olufsen. We exchanged ideas, shared career tips, and offered guidance on how to find your way into our world of sound. Our Lead Architect, Gert, brought the experience to life by showcasing some truly exceptional products. Through hands‑on demos of our art pieces such as Beosound Premiere and Beolab 8, he invited our more tech‑curious visitors to explore the technology inside and beyond the design. Gert was a true standout. With deep knowledge and genuine enthusiasm, he dove into the details of products he has even helped create himself, filling the space with beautiful sound and sparking curiosity throughout the event. Next stop is Aalborg University!
Bang & Olufsen links revolving credit facility (RCF) to sustainability performance We are proud to have linked our revolving credit facility (RCF) with Nordea Markets, Corporates & Institutions to sustainability performance, building on our first-ever sustainability-linked RCF from 2022. The facility links financing terms directly to Bang & Olufsen’s sustainability performance, reflecting the company’s progress and our continued focus on execution and measurable results. The credit facility targets emphasis on two priority areas: product circularity and climate impact. Within product circularity, we are raising the bar on durability, material health, and circular design. This includes pursuing our first Cradle to Cradle Certified® Silver certification and expanding certified products into new categories, offering clients more options that combine longevity and circularity with distinctive design. As part of this effort, we will also introduce recirculated rare earth minerals into selected products, keeping high value and impact materials in circulation, while maintaining strong acoustic performance. Complementing our circularity efforts, we are intensifying our focus on climate impact. Having already reduced our operational emissions (scope 1 and 2) by 94% since 2021/22, we are now extending our decarbonization efforts further into the value chain.
Celebrating a Century of Bang & Olufsen. This November, more than 1,000 colleagues from around the world gathered in our hometown of Struer to honour our rich past, celebrate our exciting present - and look ahead to the next era. Our birthday was one of shared experiences that reminded us why our culture stands strong: we built it together, guided by our founders’ enduring ethos from 1925: "A never-failing will to create only the best, and persistently to find new ways." We look back on a memorable day - and on a meaningful chapter in our ongoing story. To everyone behind the craftsmanship, passion, courage, and creativity that defines Bang & Olufsen - past and present: thank you. You write this story and carry the legacy forward. Be entrepreneurial. Show love. Create magic. #BangOlufsen
Legacy leaves a mark. Look under the surface of our products and you’ll find a century of innovation. From our founders’ vision, to inspired inventions. From establishing our design philosophy, to delighting in our craft. Sound. Elevated. For 100 years. And counting.
Connecting with the next generation of engineers. For several years now, we have proudly joined DTU - Technical University of Denmark's Career Week and met passionate students through mock interviews, coffee chats and an energetic career fair. This week, we explored the technology and ethos behind our products, shared ideas on innovation and design, and highlighted our commitment to circular and responsible luxury electronics. It was a pleasure to engage with so many curious and talented minds and we hope to welcome some of them to the world of Bang & Olufsen in the future. #BangOlufsen
For the past few years, Bang & Olufsen has proudly taken part in DTU Career Week, joining events like Mock Interviews, the Career Bazaar, and Coffee Meetings with talented engineering students. This year, we had inspiring discussions about high-end technology, innovation, and design excellence - and students were excited to experience the advanced tech that powers our products. Many were also inspired by our diverse, international culture - with 55 nationalities across all locations - and our strong sustainability efforts within the world of luxury electronics. It was a day full of curiosity, great energy, and meaningful connections - and we left inspired by the exceptional talent we met!
