Boozt aims to create the most attractive and sustainable logistics workplace in Europe. To achieve this goal, we are building a robust organization ready for an expansive and exciting journey ahead. A key point is integrating people and machines effectively, which could turn our logistics into a major competitive advantage. Recently, we invested 500 million SEK in our current fulfillment center in Ängelholm to improve utilization, expand storage, and enhance automated sorting capacity. Our efforts are supported by the Boozttech team, which includes over 200 developers and operates with self-developed systems. This capability allows for great flexibility and speed, enabling us to implement changes swiftly and release more than 10 updates daily to our logistics system. In a new interview, the CTO of Boozt Fulfillment & Logistics, Tobias Sjölin, discussed how LogTech is set to transform logistics as we know it. In the long read from Scandinavian MIND, the 14-year Boozt veteran shares many insights, which can be found via the link in the comments.
"We postponed the traditional Boozt Platform Conference barbecue in Malmő until today, and what a wise decision that was. The sun was out, the families were invited, Jennie Rowe Jersling ran a cozy non-tech quiz, and Jonny Johansson & Tobias Sjölin mastered the perfect grill. So proud of this cool team 🫶" Jesper Brondum on LinkedIn:
"Since I started at Boozt 2 years ago, the Platform Team has been my happiest place. We don’t just work really well in our teams, we come together from all over the world and I really cherish the friendships I have made with these amazing people."
BBQ! 🌭🍔☀️ Yesterday, #boozttech members gathered outside of the hashtag#Boozt HQ to wish everyone a good summer. The sun was out, families were invited, and colleagues gathered at the park, enjoying time away from screens and code. Children played nearby, their laughter blending with the hum of friendly conversations and the sizzle of the grill.
𝐅𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐳𝐭 𝐅𝐮𝐥𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞 At Boozt, we are very proud of our warehouse where we have a strong and capable team supported by a lot of robots and smart tech solutions supported by our developers. When we were asked to host a female logistics experts network, we happily obliged. Our Logistics Project Manager, Stina Edholm , provided a tour of the 88,000 square meters and showcased our solutions. The main purpose of the day was to connect women within the industry and share knowledge of achievements and experiences. “This network is important since the logistics industry has traditionally been male-dominated. The idea behind the network is to demonstrate that women can thrive in all roles within logistics. Additionally, it provides a great opportunity to visit outstanding logistics centers around Sweden to gain inspiration for our Boozt logistics journey. I was happy to represent #Boozt and show off the Boozt Fulfilment Centre,” says Stina.
"The room full of senior PHP developers, heaven for a recruiter you would say! But it is not about that, this time, it is about collaboration with our Poznan team, about live chatting with the local PHPers community, about understanding what is important to them. From the idea less than two months ago to the real participating at the event and representing the Boozt tech team. Thanks to my colleagues in Poznan it was a pleasure to be there. 🤞 we will meet at the PHPers Summit 2025"
"Knowledge, trends, tools, one of the best PHP conferences I've attended. Great time with the great Boozt people on PHPers #phperssummit2024." Marek Karmelski on LinkedIn:
We had a fantastic turnout at our booth at the PHPers Summit 2024. Attendees were pleasantly surprised to discover the extensive number of developers we have, our custom-tailored solutions, and that Boozt has a tech office in Poznan. These topics sparked great conversations! We were excited to meet many senior developers who were eager to know if we are hiring and it was wonderful to see interest not only from developers in Poznan but from other cities as well.
"All good things come to an end. Today is my last day at Boozt. I feel both sadness and excitement as I prepare to leave this part of my career behind. However, I would like to express my gratitude. I'm immensely grateful to Boozt and Jesper Brøndum and Chris Johansson for taking me in and helping with everything related to moving to Sweden. It was not easy and very stressful, especially with two kids. I found support and assistance with every request I made, and I will never forget it. Boozt holds a special place in my heart, and not only mine—my kids enjoyed the playroom in the office, which was a great source of joy for them. This was my first job far from the place where I used to live, my first job in another language, and my first job where I discovered that stress doesn't always lead to success. I have learned a lot working here and met many wonderful people who became my friends. I have also left some legacy of my own, doing my best to repay all the good I received here. Never in my life did I imagine that I would find so many amazing people in one corner that could brighten any day and make working so comfortable and pleasant: Kostiantyn Zholobnytskyi, Ivan Smirnov, Edward Genzora, Chintushig Ochirsukh, Roman Kislov, Andrii Medvedskyi, Sadaf Farajian, Emma Thorén, Joanna Abella, Wouter Hovius, Arian Atefi, Viktor Pikaev Thank you."
