"In the summer of 2011, after nine years in the media industry, I joined a techy startup in Cyprus that later became part of Cognyte. I didn't find the shift as odd as I expected. A lot of my former work experience was echoed in the new place, which was full of free-spirited professionals. I started as a Training and Support Engineer, a role that gave me the opportunity to travel all over the world in over 60 (!) countries! As a travel junkie, I couldn't ask for more :) In the years that followed I moved to different positions including Deployment and Training Team leader, On-Site Delivery and Service Manager in Latin America, Product Owner, and now my current role as a Global Delivery and Service Manager. Over the years I had the opportunity to meet customers all over the world, participate in challenging mega projects, and get to know the work perspective from several colleagues’ points of view. That taught me humility, to appreciate the importance of each position within the organization, as we work together and all aim towards customer satisfaction. I'd say the challenges that required me to provide a solution are what attracted me and give me the drive to keep going. Quite a journey… and it's still going. I’m thankful for the mentors who have crossed my path and am looking forward to what's yet to come".
It is Cognyte's commitment to recruit, promote, and develop women equally. Women must continue to be included in decision-making processes. We will continue to promote programs that promote equality and inclusion (Even. Better) and we will even continue to support local programs for women and girls.
Gender equality and inclusion are key to Cognyte’s commitment to all our employees. Lately, we celebrate the completion of Rising Together – an incredible program and a significant milestone on our journey to equality. Rising Together is way more than a leadership development program; it is a space where emerging women leaders and their mentors can grow, network, and challenge gender barriers in their lives. By highlighting the unique challenges women face in leadership roles, especially in male-dominated industries, the program aims at equipping participants with the mindset, skillset, and tools they need to be successful. We are grateful to our trusted partner, The Institute for Quality Leadership, for designing this program with us, and of course, kudos to the amazing participants who helped shape this program's success! The journey to elevating women in leadership roles is ongoing. And we’re in it to win it! More programs are in the pipeline, and we're excited to offer more opportunities to our Cognyt(h)ers and allies.
