We’ve officially topped out at Hub Madison Bassett. Our 235-unit, 910-bed community near the University of Wisconsin–Madison just reached this exciting milestone, bringing us one step closer to welcoming residents for the 2026–27 school year. Rising from the heart of campus, just steps from State Street, our 12-story building has over 20,000 square feet of amenity space, including a resort-style rooftop pool and green roof, multi-level fitness center with Pilates machines, a cold plunge and hot tub and tons of private study space. A modern twist to the classic Wisconsin supper club vibe, Hub Madison Bassett is where UW-Madison students will want to be. Thank you to our partners Kayne Anderson, Kennedy Wilson, Findorff, Kahler Slater, Studio K Creative and every crew member on-site for helping us reach this milestone.

Living at a Core community is anything but ordinary 🎶 Last week, we hosted two unforgettable concerts headlined by 2025 VMA Best New Artist Alex Warren for our student residents at University of Wisconsin-Madison and North Carolina State University. In partnership with Future Friends, we brought together live music and meaningful mental health programming for two magical nights, proving once again the best communities are about more than great spaces. They’re about connection and shared experiences. At Core, we meet our residents where they are, show up in unexpected ways, and create moments they’ll never forget.
After years of vision, collaboration, and grit, we’re proud to have officially broken ground on Hub on Campus Tempe, an 818-unit, 1,957-bed mixed-use development in downtown Tempe. This project reflects our commitment to honoring the city’s past while shaping its future. Working closely with the City of Tempe, we’ve preserved two cherished historic structures — the Harry Walker House and First Congregational Church Sanctuary — as part of a thoughtful plan to bring additional housing and new energy to the urban core. We were honored to celebrate this milestone with Tempe Mayor Corey Woods last week, along with our project partners Wexford Developments, Findorff, RSP Architects, Kennedy Wilson, TSB Capital Advisors and Sender Associates. Completion is set for summer 2028. We’re excited to continue building what’s next in Tempe.
As we close out National Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re proud to celebrate CLARO, our Hispanic/Latino Core colleague resource group. CLARO stands for Celebrating Latino Advancement, Relationships, and Opportunities — and that’s exactly what it does. The group is dedicated to building community, fostering connection, and celebrating culture year-round. To mark this month, a few members are sharing their personal stories and reflections on what Hispanic Heritage means to them. Swipe through to hear their voices.
Mental health matters. At Core, we’re integrating mental health support directly into our team and resident experience. Because when we prioritize mental wellness, we build stronger teams, stronger students, and stronger communities. Grateful for our partners who share in this vision and help make these resources more accessible: Talkspace Calm Hi, How Are You Foundation The Jed Foundation (JED) College Student Mental Wellness Advocacy Coalition #WorldMentalHealthDay
At Core, we don’t just break industry norms — we deliver unexpected experiences right to our residents. Next week, we’re turning up the volume at University of Wisconsin-Madison and North Carolina State University, blending music, storytelling, and meaningful conversation to support student mental wellness in ways campuses have never seen before. We’re hosting FREE concerts headlined by 2025 VMA Best New Artist Alex Warren, alongside impactful mental wellness programming for students — in partnership with Two Bridge's new platform, Future Friends. And our residents at Hub Raleigh, Hub Bassett, ōLiv Madison, Hub Madison, and The Rive Madison get exclusive access. Because our communities offer more than a place to live. We’re creating a resident experience that lives beyond our four walls. It’s a community and it’s a lifestyle. This is the future of student living. And we’re just getting started.
We’re honored to be named a finalist for the 2025 Money Management Institute/Barron’s Industry Awards in the Doing Good category, recognizing our work with Camp Out for Kids. Launched by Core’s co-founders, Camp Out for Kids was built on a simple belief: every child deserves the life-changing experience of summer camp. Since then, the program has raised over $6.4M and sent over 11,080 kids from underserved communities to camps nationwide. The annual MMI/Barron’s Industry Awards spotlight firms leading with innovation and impact across the investment advisory industry. This recognition sums up what Core is all about: a culture of purpose, community, and a commitment to making a lasting difference beyond our business.
Deal closed. In partnership with Harrison Street, we're bringing Hub Tampa Fowler, a 1,195-bed student housing community, to the University of South Florida. Just steps from USF’s main campus and part of the University Mall corridor, Hub Tampa Fowler will offer unmatched access to campus, shopping, dining, and entertainment. Our project is a key piece of Rithm, the redevelopment led by RD Management LLC that’s transforming the University Mall area into a vibrant mixed-use district with a “college town” feel featuring new housing, hotels, entertainment, and student-focused retail. This milestone reflects a shared vision more than a decade in the making. We're proud to be part of this transformative redevelopment and can’t wait to bring another Hub community to USF students. Delivering Summer 2027. Thanks to all who made this deal possible. Harrison Street, RD Management LLC, TSB Capital Advisors and QuadReal Property Group.
