💡 [Innovation by Egis] GIIB Motorway Satellite Monitoring #20 How are AI and satellite imagery disrupting road maintenance? 🌍 In Türkiye, Egis operates a 428 km motorway with one of the 4 largest suspension bridges in the world; the 3 km long Osmangazi Bridge linking Istanbul to Izmir. Built in less than 6 years, which is incredible timing, it's a marvel of modern engineering! 🌐 As an operator, and building on its track record in AI solutions for motorway operations, Egis has developed an innovative platform with the Portuguese company Spotlite. Thanks to AI and satellite imagery, we can now detect road and embankment movements with an accuracy of 5 c mm, ensuring near real-time monitoring. This technology has resulted in significant savings for our customers, allowing us to avoid dangerous inspections, anticipate abnormal ground movements and intervene immediately. In addition, the creation of a digital twin of the bridge enhanced monitoring, combined with in-situ sensors for rapid detection of anomalies.

[Breaking news] Egis USA enters ENR's Top 500 US Design Firms ranking, a first major milestone in the Group's journey of expanding in North America. Following the Group's acquisition of McIntosh Perry and Beam, Longest and Neff in 2023, which confirmed North America as a key region for Egis' expansion, this ranking is a promising starting point to achieve our objective: to become a major local player! The Group's US teams are also ranked 31st in the "Top 50 Designers in the International Market", thanks to the turnover generated internationally. Egis' high added value offer in North America is: - in the road sector, a historically strong market for Egis in Canada (formerly McIntosh Perry) and Egis in the U.S. (formerly Beam, Longest and Neff, LLC) - in the energy rebate program, which benefits the local population in home improvement projects that can reduce their energy bills. - in rail and urban transportation, building on the Group's strong track record to bring more low-carbon transportation options to North America. We're just getting started! As our goals in the region are high, we'll be sure to improve on our baseline ranking in the U.S.
