Estes achieved its highest-ever Net Promoter Score (NPS) on its Summer 2024 LTL Customer Satisfaction Survey. On a scale of -100 to 100, Estes scored a 59, which is a 10-point increase from its survey score earlier this year. And 73% of customers rated Estes a 9 or 10 out of 10 overall. Estes conducts these surveys to better understand its customers' experiences with its freight services. According to the survey, Estes exceeded its already strong record of exceptional service, receiving its highest scores to date in the following categories: On-time pickups On-time deliveries Shipment condition Estes added Communication as a new category to the survey, which also showed high satisfaction. "We are thrilled with the survey’s results, especially all the positive feedback on our on-time pickups and deliveries, shipment condition, and communication. Having our highest score to date is a testimony to our employees’ ongoing dedication to go above and beyond to deliver even more exceptional service every day," said Carrie Johnstone, vice president of customer experience and innovation. During its Driver Safety Awareness month in July, Estes Express Lines–North America’s largest, privately owned freight carrier–will reward and celebrate Estes’ most loyal and safest drivers with its updated Estes Million Mile Program. The new program is data-driven and boasts greater accuracy and real-time mileage tracking among other updates. In July, Estes leaders will travel to terminals throughout the country to recognize drivers who have reached the one-, two- and three-million-mile mark as well as those who have hit the 500,000 milestone after each million-mile mark with Estes. Nearly 3,000 drivers will receive this prestigious recognition. “Every mile matters to a driver, and we want Estes drivers to know that we see them, we appreciate their commitment to safety, and we have great respect for the skill they provide,” said Curtis Carr, vice president of safety/risk management. “Having real-time access to the miles they’ve clocked will be a game changer for the program and will motivate our drivers to continue to drive safely.” Since 2000, the Estes Million Mile Program has been based on longevity with the company, a standard process that many freight carriers still use. The new program relies on data and technology to track the distance each driver puts on the road.
