The year 2025 was a defining one for Hughes Systique and HSCians. We bid it adieu by charting the course and strategizing for the year ahead through the Annual Planning & Sales Meet (APSM), while also celebrating the achievements of the previous year at HSConverge—the annual gathering of HSCians.
Mr. Vinod Sood, MD, Hughes Systique Corporation and Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry's DX Committee, was invited to deliver the opening remarks at CII’s Big Data and Analytics Conclave, held at ITC Maurya, Delhi. Mr. Sood joined the conclave virtually and observed that with India’s acceleration in adopting Artificial Intelligence across enterprises and governments, “building scalable, interoperable, and high-quality data platforms is no longer optional but a strategic imperative.” Mr. Gaurav Mehrotra, Sr. Director, HSC, was also invited to participate in a panel discussion to speak on “AI-Ready Data Foundations: Platforms & Quality”.

On the occasion of International Volunteer Day, we were joined by the Changemakers – members of Hughes Systique's CSR team of Parivartan, the super men & women of HSC who have always contributed with their time, efforts and thoughts to make all the initiatives of this year a success. As a small token of our gratitude, we presented them with a plant as a symbol of growth and remembrance. We thanked our volunteers, for not just doing good & giving back to the society but also for inspiring us all to keep going beyond. To those who couldn’t join us in person, their efforts and commitment have been equally invaluable, and we celebrate them with the same gratitude and pride.
Senior Principal Engineers - Mr. Anirudh Gupta & Mr. Lovejeet Singh, Hughes Systique, were invited to co-deliver a talk at ETSI’s Joint SDG Ecosystem Day. ETSI is an independent, non-profit organization that develops global standards for telecommunications and information technologies. They spoke on the topic of “Supporting O1 interface in 5G O-RAN NW Slicing” and the talk was attended by more than 50 Members of ETSI Software Development Groups (SDGs) and leaders as well as Module leads. After a thorough selection process by the ETSI team which involved multiple topics from all the SDGs, Mr. Gupta & Mr. Singh’s topic was selected. The speakers were also required to present their ongoing ideas or Proofs of Concept (PoCs) as part of the selection process. This approach ensured visibility of innovative initiatives, encouraged collaboration, and enabled the selection of impactful topics currently under development. During the session, Mr. Gupta and Mr. Singh elaborated on the role of the O1 interface in connecting the SMO with O-RAN components for seamless configuration and automation. They also presented their proposed approach to bringing O1 support into OSM—an enhancement that will significantly improve O-RAN management workflows and contribute to more robust, future-ready 5G network slicing solutions.

She has quoted Mr. Sood sharing how the team at HSC have made it a “habit to reposition themselves”. “We at HSC, had already built AI prototypes much before the economic slowdown. Now during the AI surge, we are not scrambling but ahead of the curve”, said Mr. Sood. The author also notes how the culture of sustainable growth at HSC has helped the organisation to navigate through the various troughs triggered by dynamic global & domestic challenges.
