Meet Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist Kayla Carter 👋 Kayla oversees environmental, health, safety, quality, and regulatory compliance for Hydrite's Lubbock (TX) facility. This includes tasks like identifying hazards, documenting safe behavior improvements, and giving daily safety talks to plant employees. As a core building block at Hydrite, safety is an integral part of Kayla's day-to-day, both personally and professionally. "Safety is important to me because of the people I work with every day. Our Steals for Meals initiative is expanding to Terre Haute! New in 2026, Hydrite is proud to support local hunger‑relief efforts through Indiana State University Athletics: ⚾ $200 for every steal during Indiana State baseball games 🏀 $100 for every steal at Indiana State men’s basketball home games Donating up to $10,000 per season, proceeds will benefit Catholic Charities Terre Haute. Our Hydrite Helps team has been busy giving back to local communities over the past few weeks. Volunteers from our Milwaukee (WI) branch joined Hunger Task Force to pack 320 food boxes for senior citizens in need. Last weekend the Hydrite Beakers took on the Fight For Air Climb – Milwaukee in support of the American Lung Association, climbing 30 flights of stairs to symbolize the daily struggle of those with lung disease.
