We’re so proud and excited to share that our Senior Vice President and CFO, Tina Miller was named the 2024 Barbara Cox Woman of the Year last week at the #NADASHOW. Established in 2005, this award recognizes female leaders in the automotive industry who share traits and accomplishments of its namesake, Barbara Cox, a business pioneer. Along with this award, a $10,000 scholarship donation is given to a female Northwood University Automotive Marketing and Management student. This year’s recipient is Haiden Wilburn, a junior from Muskegon, Michigan. Tina’s commitment to the community is inspiring. And we love that Tina’s expert guidance is leading not just our team but our industry.
It’s Throwback Thursday. We started with one store in 1946. One became five, five turned into fifty and here we are today with more than 300 stores across the US, UK, and Canada. That’s what we call Growth Powered by People.
Every year our Priority Auto Group in Virginia helps pay the adoption fees at area animal shelters so hundreds of pets can find happy homes. We also collaborate with our OEM partners to match the donations. In December of 2023, this furry initiative resulted in $20K from Priority and $20K from the OEM match. Here’s the best part: more than 425 pets were adopted under this program. Congrats and thank you to everyone that made these beautiful adoptions happen. 🐾
