Each year, the American Heart Association brings together young women for an engaging event designed to spark interest in STEM careers through immersive learning and meaningful connections. A standout experience was Dr. Laura Gravelin’s heart dissection lab, where students explored pig hearts up close and gained real-world insight into the science behind cardiology. 🫀 Opportunities like this play an important role in nurturing curiosity, building confidence, and inspiring the next generation of women to pursue leadership roles in STEM fields.
