Four months into Omada’s Enhanced GLP-1 Care Track, participating members were significantly more engaged in the program and experienced 28% greater weight loss than members on GLP-1s who met similar eligibility criteria and received standard Omada care. These members are demonstrating a strong commitment to their GLP-1 companion program as a supportive tool during their weight health journey, and it’s paying off with… ⭐27% more days physically active ⭐22% more healthy meals recorded ⭐12% more weigh-ins at 4 months compared to those receiving Omada’s standard care. 🚨New Analysis on GLP-1 Discontinuation from Omada Health🚨 A new real-world analysis shows that Omada members, on average, experienced virtually no weight gain 4 months after discontinuing a GLP-1. On the other hand, according to clinical trial data, people averaged a +6-7% weight gain over the same time period after discontinuing a GLP-1. Our research shows that GLP-1 users find support via an app-based program helpful - particularly when it comes to tracking weight, physical activity, and nutrition. Emotional and social support matter too! We also found that members of our program that interact with the care team or our online support communities are 77% more likely to achieve their target outcomes! We really believe in our members. But what’s more important is our members believing in themselves. Four months into the Enhanced GLP-1 Care Track, participating members saw an increase in self-efficacy by 12%, and expressed more confidence in their ability to lose weight compared to when they started. Increases in self-efficacy can be predictive of improvements in health behaviors, like diet and exercise.
