PPG will extend COLORFUL COMMUNITIES program through 2035 Global program to protect and beautify local communities celebrates 10 years of impact PPG today announced that it will extend its global COLORFUL COMMUNITIES® program for an additional 10 years to celebrate a decade of beautifying and revitalizing communities. As part of this commitment, PPG will commit $15 million to celebrate the next decade of beautifying and revitalizing communities. The 10-year milestone will be marked by a year of celebrations that will feature 10 flagship Colorful Communities projects around the world throughout 2025. To build on the positive impacts of the program, PPG and the PPG Foundation will also distribute $1 million in celebration grants to 100 previous and current Colorful Communities partners. PPG’s global community engagement efforts and the PPG Foundation aim to bring color and brightness to PPG communities around the world. We invested more than $17.5 million in 2023, supporting hundreds of organizations across nearly 40 countries. By investing in educational opportunities, we help grow tomorrow’s STEM innovators and skilled workforce in fields related to coatings and manufacturing.
