With the last month of summer upon us, we’d like to take a moment to celebrate our partnership with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) and show our appreciation to everyone who’s helped support it throughout the business! 🍋 For more than a decade, we’ve proudly worked with Alex’s in support of their mission to find a cure for childhood cancer. Through employee donations, local lemonade stands, company events, volunteer efforts, and other unique methods, we have been working all summer to “Power the Cure”. We are excited to finish strong this summer and continue to support ALSF in the future. Learn more about our partnership here!

Culture is about building community. What creates a workplace community is shared experiences that foster in-person connection. At our company, we dedicate over two percent of top-line revenue towards 250-plus yearly touchpoints of employee engagement. Leadership could wave the flag and re-route that spending elsewhere, but we don’t. These experiences are how employees grow as individuals, leaders, and professionals.” - POWER COO, Tim Wenhold Take a look at the strategies these people-first businesses are using to position themselves for a bright future.

For many years now, POWER has been working with different nonprofits to create nationwide positive change. This year we committed to a $500,000 partnership with DonorsChoose, an education nonprofit to help fund public schools and teachers in need. This partnership allowed us to choose the schools, teachers, and projects that we’d support. We decided to take an unique approach that gave all of our employees an opportunity to choose where a portion of these funds would go. This was one of our most involved partnerships to date - click the link to get the full details of our partnership and how our POWER people had the choice to “choose for good”!
