We brought our operations leaders together for our Neighborhood Director Gathering, a dedicated time for alignment, connection, and clarity across the organization. We shared company updates, upcoming priorities, and the broader vision driving our work. It was a chance to step back from the day-to-day and look at where we're going, why it matters, and how each of us plays a role in getting there. We also opened the floor for discussion, feedback, and collaboration. These conversations are essential for making sure we’re not just informed, but inspired and empowered to lead with purpose in our Neighborhoods. Walking away from this gathering, there’s a renewed sense of focus, alignment, and shared commitment to our mission.

Led by our Senior Learning Onboarding Experience Manager, John, the session brings our purpose, “Good Living for the Greater Good”, to life. This week, our newest Prometheans left energized and inspired by the impact they’ll make!
What an amazing day for our Prometheus Volunteers at Humane Society Silicon Valley! We went behind the scenes at the Milpitas campus, touring the medical center, Community Cat Garden, and the kitten nursery — so many adorable faces! We rolled up our sleeves to stock the Pet Pantry, helped with daily housekeeping, and spent quality time socializing with sweet adoptable dogs and cats. It was a day full of smiles, teamwork, and wagging tails! Huge thanks to HSSV for the incredible work you do and for letting us be a part of it! 🐾❤️
This week, our PNW crew laced up their boots and hit the trails with Forest Park Conservancy to give Forest Park a little Earth Day TLC, helping with restoration and maintenance of popular trails. Big thanks to them and to our Porch Prometheans for their hard work! Whether you’re out hiking a forest, strolling in your neighborhood park, or just enjoying the sunshine, let’s all take a moment to appreciate the nature around us and do our part to care for it. Community support is at the heart of our Promethean culture. When a devastating fire recently damaged more than half of the Humane Society Silicon Valley’s campus, our longtime friends and Porch partners needed help—so our amazing Porch volunteers answered the call. Last week, our team stepped up to assist HSSV’s operations, providing much-needed assistance for their staff and furry friends. It was a powerful reminder of how giving back can bring both new and longtime Prometheans together. A heartfelt thank you to our volunteers for your time, generosity, and unwavering support!
2024 was a year of impactful volunteering with our Prometheans, their efforts yielding a 60% increase in volunteer hours over 2023, with 25 Porch events and 1,907 total hours logged! - 53,800 pounds of food packaged with Second Harvest of Silicon Valley - 5 playhouses built for Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley - 277 toys collected during The Season of Merry Making - 12,195 meals for shelter animals prepared Humane Society Silicon Valley - 5 homes restored for families in need with Rebekah Children's Services and Housing Industry Foundation Thank you to our Prometheans for your contributions, adding goodness to our communities that need it now more than ever.
