We commissioned this piece in honour of #IndigenousHistoryMonth and #Pride in Canada in June. Johnny Mukwa is a Woodland artist of mixed Anishinaabe and Métis descent from Thunder Bay, Ontario, who currently works and lives in Nelson, British Columbia.
