This weekend, Chattanooga hosted the Ironman for the 10th straight year. Over 2,000 athletes completed the event, including two Walden Security Court Security Officers: Johnny Rogers from Chattanooga and Mike Stephens from Southern Iowa. We were honored to support them and all competitors by volunteering at a water station. Over 75 Walden employees and their families were in attendance to support the athletes!
During their annual conference at our headquarters in Chattanooga, Walden Security's HR staff dedicated part of their time to volunteering at the Chambliss Center for Children, a local non-profit organization that provides transformative programs to support our youth. They spent their time painting, weeding around the building, pressure washing and mulching the playground. Thanks to the HR team for dedicating their time and the center for giving us the opportunity to give back!
Green spaces are crucial in a big city like Atlanta. Our Atlanta staff recently volunteered with Tree Atlanta, a non-profit that aims to mitigate the city's tree loss, protect its forests and increase its tree canopy. They spent the day cleaning along a creek bed at Westside Park, a quarry park in the center of Atlanta. Big thanks to these employees for helping improve their community!
