Kate’s Cabin proudly welcomes two new unit additions! 🎉 Yesterday we officially opened a brand‑new Starbucks Drive‑Thru, giving travellers on the A1 even more choice, convenience and a great place to recharge on their journey. Just a few hours later, we celebrated another major milestone, the launch of Welcome Break’s first ever Taco Bell Drive‑Thru! A huge step forward in expanding our food offering and bringing even more variety to the site. A massive thank you to everyone involved for delivering this project not only to an exceptional standard, but also 14 days ahead of schedule. Wishing both operational teams every success as they welcome their first customers ☕️🌮
The first Taco Bell in Northern Ireland is now open! 🌮 Yesterday, we welcomed Taco Bell to our Applegreen Lisburn North location, marking the brand’s debut in Northern Ireland. Customers travelled far and wide to celebrate our opening day with us. From spin to win merch and free products to sampling, it was a brilliant way to mark such a special milestone. A huge thank you to everyone who made it happen, and wishing the team every success as they kick off this new chapter ✨💜
We’re pleased to share an exciting update from our hybrid units, The Good Breakfast and Chopstix 🎉 We’ve recently completed the installation of a new self‑service kiosk, marking another step forward in enhancing the convenience, choice, and overall experience available to our visitors. The kiosks are now available at the following locations: Corley South, Oxford, Hopwood, Birchanger Green and Charnock Richard. A big thank you to everyone involved in making this happen.

From litter picks to keep our local communities looking their best to themed baked sales and raffles to support our Welcome Break Charitable Fund – we saw some real sustainability superstars in action. ⭐️ To help create a better environment for the future, our world class teams shared their sustainability pledges and hosted Earth Day activities nationwide! Our head office has a fresh new look! 🔨 Last week, we opened the doors to our newly refurbished head office in Newport Pagnell – and we think you’ll agree it looks fantastic. 🤩 Our head office is the engine room for the functions, ideas, and support that enable our 61 sites and 31 hotels to deliver an exceptional customer experience for people on the move. With continued investment in our sites across the UK, it felt like the right moment to give our support centre some love too.
