We increased the amount of renewable and recycled raw materials we buy to make our products – half of our purchased materials were produced with sustainable sources. Our overall investments in environmental sustainability grew by 68% compared to 2023, nearly tripling our spending compared to 2022. We’re hooked on finding new ways to make our products more sustainable. 🎣 Introducing a range of LEGO® tires, made with over one-third recycled content from old fishing nets, ropes, and engine oil 🛞 🛞 They're ready to roll out after years of development and rigorous testing—including assessments for feel, function, and even a ‘butter test’ where our team tests how the elements might work in the stickiest of hands. These tires meet the highest quality and durability standards that LEGO play is known for, while also contributing to our goal to make our products from more sustainable materials by 2032. By the end of the year, seven different tire designs are due to have transitioned into more than 120 different LEGO sets across our product range.
