The AV Engineer will work closely with customers, the Teksetra sales team, other Teksetra Engineers, and the Teksetra services team to design, configure, and support the installation of commercial AV systems.

Position summary:
Design, configure, and support installation of corporate/commercial AV systems for Teksetra. This full-time hybrid position is at Teksetra's corporate facility in Plymouth, MN. Full time remote for candidates out of the area will also be considered.
Job responsibilities include:
· Work with sales team on new AV business development, sales calls, and presentations as AV subject matter expert (SME).
· Gather accurate business requirements, discuss alternate solution options, and attend customer discovery meetings as needed.
· Perform site walkthroughs, surveys, troubleshooting, and installation checks as needed.
· Provide AV system designs, drawings, schematics, detailed plans, and elevations as needed, based on customer and site requirements.
· Work with purchasing to determine hardware needed and lead times.
· Work with project services team to create installation and testing plans, scope of work, and training for onsite technicians.
· Provide ongoing technical and logistical support to AV Field Technicians, specifically provide SOW review, training, and troubleshooting as needed, to ensure accurate and efficient installation.
· Participate in internal opportunity review, kickoff, and postmortem meetings for projects.
· Effectively present and communicate company value proposition to current and prospective customers.
· Establish and maintain a consistent corporate image throughout all presentations, product lines, promotional materials, and events.
· Maintain current expert knowledge of AV products and services by attending tradeshows, vendor training sessions, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks.
· Maintain a working knowledge of competitor products and services and of emerging trends in the audiovisual, conferencing and collaboration industry.
· Other duties as assigned.
Experience and Required Skills
· 5+ years’ experience in commercial AV Industry required including experience in installation and troubleshooting of AV systems.
· CTS certification preferred
· Design experience with corporate AV systems, including digital display, sound masking, conference room technology, and other technology.
· AutoCAD, Visio, or other system design software experience preferred.
· AV Installation experience preferred.
· Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Poly, Logi, Cisco, Yealink, Panasonic Shure, Sennheiser, Mic/speaker Arrays and integration, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, Control system software knowledge, Crestron Flex specifically, Q-Sys, PTZ Cameras and integration, digital whiteboards,
Bonus Skills:
o A holistic understanding of Physical Security
o Experience with Quoting software & Design software.
o Networking / IOT in the office space.
