The Operations Manager leads, manages, and continuously improves all hotel operational departments, ensuring smooth daily functioning, guest satisfaction, process discipline, staff capability, and strong accountability across all teams. The role exists to stabilize operations, strengthen HOD performance, and free the General Manager to focus on revenue and strategic leadership.

Core Responsibilities
Operational Excellence & System Enforcement
- Ensure all departments function according to SOPs
- Build, refine, and enforce operational systems
- Drive strict daily checklist compliance
- Standardise quality across all spaces
Guest Experience Leadership
- Prevent guest complaints through system discipline
- Manage escalated complaints
- Track guest satisfaction metrics and implement improvements
Cross-Department Coordination
- Ensure seamless FO-HK room readiness coordination
- Oversee F&B-HK-Service synchronisation
- Align Engineering with all departments for defect resolution
- Ensure Stores, Banquets, Wellness all align operationally
Staff Culture & Performance Management
- Enforce discipline, punctuality, grooming, behaviour standards
- Build teamwork and cross-unit collaboration
- Motivate and correct performance proactively
Daily Operational Readiness
- Check rooms, restaurants, public areas, banquet halls, FO, BOH spaces
- Ensure operational readiness for daily and special events
