Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Car Wash Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair car wash equipment and facility electrical systems. This position is responsible for ensuring all wash equipment operates safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

· Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain tunnel car wash equipment and systems

· Perform preventative maintenance on motors, pumps, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, blowers, and chemical delivery systems

· Diagnose and repair electrical issues, including motors, relays, sensors, control panels, wiring, and PLC-related components

· Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency

· Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance situations

· Maintain maintenance logs, repair records, and inventory of parts and supplies

· Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and company procedures

· Coordinate with site managers and vendors when necessary

· Keep maintenance areas clean, organized, and safe

Qualifications

· Previous maintenance experience in car wash, industrial, manufacturing, or mechanical environments preferred but not required.

· Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

· Basic understanding of electrical systems, motors, pumps, and control systems

· Ability to read technical manuals

· Basic knowledge of PLCs and automated equipment preferred

· Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment

· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Physical Requirements

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

· Ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and work in wet or humid environments

· Comfortable working around moving mechanical equipment and electrical systems

Schedule

· Must be available for night work, weekends, and emergency service calls

Preferred Skills

· Welding or fabrication experience is a plus

· Experience with conveyor systems and automated tunnel equipment

· Electrical certification or technical training preferred

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
