Automotive Parts Counter Person

We have an immediate need for Automotive Parts Counter Person with highly

competitive compensation.

Job Responsibilities

The Automotive Parts Counter Person is responsible for looking up and ordering parts

and required components needed to perform maintenance and repairs on Toyota vehicles.

In addition, you will have a key technical sales role in dealing directly with customers at

times.

Specific duties for the Automotive Parts Counter Person include:

- Look up parts for technicians.

- Answer telephones for outside parts sales

- Wait on customers at our parts counter.

- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety, and environmental rules.

- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training

sessions in order to stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology.

- Assist in putting away inventory orders and keeping current inventory orderly and

neat.

- Maintain high customer satisfaction standards.

Job Requirements

As an Automotive Parts Counter Person, you must have an engaging and high-energy

personality and the ability to set the pace and tone while helping to develop the team

around you. You must also have a strong work ethic, work well as part of a team, and take

pride in the work you do.

Specific qualifications for the Automotive Parts Counter Person position include:

- Minimum 2 years’ automotive parts counter experience required.

- Toyota / Dealership experience a plus

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Demonstrate customer service skills.

- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs on occasion.

- Physically capable to stand, kneel and crawl for extended periods of time when

necessary.

- Outgoing personality with experience in developing relationships.

- Work in a fast-paced environment, are organized, and can manage your time.

- Must have valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.

Education:

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

- Toyota Dealership Parts Sales: 1 year (Preferred)

- AUTO PARTS SALES: 1 year (Required)

Pay: $30,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year
