The Director of GME or Institutional Coordinator is a leading member of the GME program. This role will provide comprehensive administrative and operational leadership for the Sponsoring Institution and Residency Programs. This role involves oversight of residency programs, coordination between faculty, residents, and partner hospitals, and supports mission to strengthen hospital-based medical education.
Key Responsibilities:
· Coordinate all administrative aspects of a Residency Program and other.
· Act as the primary liaison between the program, faculty, residents, and hospital partners.
· Organize schedules, workshops, training sessions, and evaluation meetings.
· Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation for program monitoring and accreditation purposes as meets requirements for ACGME.
· Assist faculty with curriculum implementation, resident assessments, and feedback processes.
· Support recruitment, onboarding, and orientation of residents.
· Ensure compliance with ACGME guidelines, hospital policies, and accreditation requirements.
· Facilitate communication across internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Education, or related field (Master’s preferred). Also prefer TAGME certification.
· Up to five or more years experience in academic or hospital program administration, ideally in graduate medical education.
· Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and basic program management tools.
· Ability to multitask, work independently, and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Desirable Attributes:
· Knowledge of family medicine residency program structures and accreditation standards.
· Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and initiative.
· Professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
