FLEX-WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

The Flex-Warehouse Associate will primarily work in the facility, and go on removals as needed. This position reports to the Operations Manager for warehouse related work and removal assignments.

Duties:

In Warehouse:

- Sorting and organizing of computer and e-waste scrap materials.

- Follow all PPE that applies to this department.

- Maintain a clean, organized workspace.

On Removals:

· Assist Removal Specialists with efficient, clean and effective removal of secondary IT assets, e-waste and other hardware.

Data Security

· Make sure all loose hard drives and storage mediums are securely stored for data security. Strictly adhere to the standard Sycamore data security policies.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

This position operates in a warehouse production environment and may also require working at various client locations. It requires extended periods of standing and regular use of computers, including Mac OS, Windows, the Microsoft Office suite, and a custom relational database for asset tracking. The employee must be able to communicate effectively, stand, and walk around the facility, as well as lift up to 50 lbs. to perform essential job functions.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, operating from 9:00am to 5:15pm, Monday through Friday, five days per week. Extended hours on site and off site may be required during busy periods and as required for removals.

Required Education and Experience

1. High school diploma or GED

2. Experience in using computers personally or professionally

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
