We're the team behind @eatcouver, a Canadian food account with 100k+ followers, built over the last decade, and are looking for someone in South Africa to join our growing team.

We manage social media for local restaurants, and a core part of what we do is make their Instagram sound like them: not us.

Job Details:

• Each month, you'll get a set of images from a restaurant, their brand reference materials, and access to an AI drafting tool.
• Your job is to turn that into captions that feel like the restaurant owner wrote them.
• You use the AI as a starting point, but the final output would be yours.
• Each restaurant takes about 2 hours per month. You’d be able to take on as many as your schedule allows, based on performance and fit.

You're the right fit if:

• You’re fluent in English, including grammar and spelling.
• You can write in a personable, human-like way.
• You can shift tone between brands and still make each one feel specific.
• You notice when a caption is off and can fix it without being told why it's wrong.
• You're a great communicator and are comfortable working independently.
• You're able to work with AI to refine each caption, rather than blindly accepting its output as is.
