• Responsibility includes the cost evaluation and calculation of machining components.
• Detailed cycle time calculations and process‑efficiency evaluations support the derivation of optimization measures.
• Cost‑related consulting for purchased parts is provided to the relevant departments.
• Systematic analyses of cost structures help identify cost‑saving potential in components and manufacturing processes.
• Participation in Design‑to‑Cost activities contributes to cost‑optimized product and process designs early in development.
• Support is provided to Purchasing and Sales during negotiations, along with active involvement in cross‑functional cost‑analysis workshops.
• Benchmark analyses and design optimization activities complement the day‑to‑day responsibilities.
• The development and implementation of advanced calculation tools round off the task profile.

• Several years of professional experience in the machining industry is required.
• Experienced CNC Machining Technician and Programmer with hands‑on production experience, combined with commercial and cost‑engineering expertise and strong negotiations skills.
• A career path through production, engineering, quality, or comparable technical departments ensures a strong interdisciplinary background.
• Experience with cost calculation tools and cycle time calculators is mandatory.
• Knowledge of additional manufacturing technologies is considered an advantage.
• Willingness to travel for business purposes (approx. 10%) as well as excellent written and spoken English skills are expected.
• Additional languages (especially German) are an advantage.
