Buckeyes, Wolverines, Gophers, Badgers, Nittany Lions, Illini, Hoosiers, Hawkeyes, Spartans, Wildcats, and Boilermakers all stop bickering and get along under the Big Ten Network banner. The official TV network of the Big Ten Conference produces 400 live events and about 600 hours of original programming each year. Broadcasts are primarily football and other NCAA sports along with sports news and analysis. It also airs campus activities and academic programs. A joint venture between FOX Sports Net and the Big Ten conference, Big Ten Network programs are broadcast on Comcast, DIRECTV, DISH Network, and about 230 other cable operators. It also distributes some content through AT&T and Verizon.
