Echoes can be fun when bouncing your name off a canyon wall, but not during an urgent phone call. Ditech Networks' echo cancellation equipment regulates the distracting echoes that can occur in long distance, satellite, and wireless phone calls. It has also developed other voice improvement devices, including voice-to-text, and voice processing products for VoIP networks. The company, which uses a third-party manufacturer, primarily markets through a direct sales force in the US; it utilizes resellers and distributors overseas. Ditech's largest customers include telecommunications service providers Verizon Wireless, Intercall, and AT&T. Customers in the US provide more than half of the company's sales.
