Endwave is riding the wireless tide. The company designs components and subsystems for broadband wireless systems. Telecom equipment makers such as Nokia Siemens Networks and Nera Networks use Endwave's radio-frequency (RF) modules and transceivers in cellular, point-to-point, and point-to-multipoint network access gear. The company also manufactures RF amplifiers, converters, and oscillators. Northrop Grumman Information Systems supplies Endwave with chips. The company gets nearly all of its sales from European customers. In 2011 GigOptix bought Endwave for about $25 million.
