This company's beacon shines brightest on the fast-food business. Fog Cutter Capital Group has investments in a variety of enterprises, but its primary operating business is Fatburger. The 82%-owned hamburger chain, with more than 90 restaurants, is popular for its gourmet burgers and retro-themed diner interiors. Fatburger has locations in more than a dozen states, primarily in California; more than 60 of the fast food eateries are franchised. In addition, Fog Cutter owns an industrial manufacturing business (DAC International) and has a number of real estate holdings.
