GAB Robins understood the risk of doing business, which may explain why it now is no longer doing much in the way of business. The GAB Robins Group of Companies identified insurance risk as well as offered workers' compensation, general liability, and other property/casualty claims management programs in the US. It also provided claims administration and fraud-prevention services to self-insured companies. The company has made itself smaller by selling off the largest parts of its business in recent years, and is in the process of winding down its remaining operations.
