Golfsmith International, headquartered in Austin, TX, is the largest specialty golf retailer in the world. Operating under the Golfsmith brand in the United States and the Golf Town brand in Canada, Golfsmith International has more than 160 experiential locations in addition to www.golfsmith.com and www.golftown.com. The company sells golf equipment, apparel, and accessories from major makers (such as TaylorMade, Adidas, Callaway, Under Armour, and Nike) and its own brands (Golfsmith, Snake Eyes, Maggie Lane, MacGregor, Lynx, and ZTech, among others). Both Golfsmith and Golf Town retail locations features state-of-the-art custom fitting services from trained master club fitters. The company was founded in 1967 as a mail-order seller of custom-made golf clubs.
