In the case of Gulfstream Natural Gas, the name says it all. The natural gas transportation and storage company delivers approximately 1.25 billion cu. ft. of natural gas per day from source areas on the Gulf Coast (in eastern Louisiana and Mississippi) to customers in Central and South Florida. Its system consists of some 745 miles of pipeline (including 294 miles of pipeline in Florida and 419 miles offshore). The company boasts the largest pipeline in the Gulf of Mexico. Gulfstream Natural Gas is a joint venture between The Williams Companies (through Williams Partners) and Spectra Energy and its Spectra Energy Partners unit.
