Hirsch International happily keeps the apparel industry in stitches. The company supplies single- and multi-head embroidery machines, embroidery supplies, machine parts, and software, as well as digital printers and textile lasers. Hirsch is the exclusive US distributor of Tajima Industries equipment (multiple-head embroidery machines), MHM screen printing equipment, SEIT textile bridge lasers, and other industry tech brands. Tajima-built equipment accounts for about 50% of sales. Core customers are manufacturers that produce thread, appliqué, and rhinestone-decorative apparel and accessories, uniforms, or sportswear, and apparel screenprinters and retailers. In 2009 CEO Paul Gallagher took the company private.
