Hydrodec has a very refined taste. Serving the electricity and utility industries, the company produces a brand of transformer oil, known as Superfine, by acquiring used transformer oil and re-refining it using patented technologies. Hydrodec also provides on-site transformer testing, oil purification, and oil regeneration for its customers. Its key technology allows it to take spent oil, including toxic polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) contaminated oil, and gain 99% or greater recovery of oil for reuse while eliminating PCBs. In addition, Hydrodec recycles hazardous waste and chemicals and is able to convert some waste products into benzene, a chemical often used in the production of other chemicals.
