The company, named for the mountain-climbing Lafuma brothers, sells outdoor gear in specialty stores in Europe, North America, and Asia. The Lafuma brand includes backpacks, camping equipment, footwear, and apparel for the casual user. Millet is the company's brand of technical mountaineering apparel, ropes, and boots for the serious alpinist. It sells casually rugged hunting and fishing apparel under the La Chameau brand. Eider ski gear and Ober jeans round out the brands. Lafuma goes from the mountains to the coast with is majority ownership of French surf apparel company Oxbow. Its wears are sold in brand name about 20 stores worldwide.
