Onoff was born at the end of 2013 in the mind of Taig Khris, a public figure and extreme sports athlete who understood firsthand the challenges of protecting personal privacy — especially his phone number. After spending much time in and out of hospitals due to injuries and surgeries, a new idea took shape during one of his recovery periods: to build something bold, useful, and scalable.
This idea became Onoff — a product that didn't exist yet, designed to grow without limits, serve a global audience, and deliver outstanding user experience. In early 2014, Taig moved to Estonia to bring this vision to life. By February of that year, Onoff welcomed its first employee. By the end of 2014, there were five. Development of the product started immediately, and Onoff Numbers officially launched on February 24th, 2015.
Since then, we've come a long way. Today, Onoff is a fast-growing international telecom company with over 100 team members across our offices in Tallinn and Paris. Alongside our flagship products — Onoff Numbers and Onoff Business — we have recently launched Onoff Travel, expanding our offering to meet the evolving communication needs of modern users around the world.
We're still just getting started — driven by bold thinking, meaningful innovation, and a passion for building better ways to connect!
