The Options Group gives financial services companies choices and helps them make the right one. The executive search firm specializes in mid- to senior-level executive recruitment in areas such as asset management, insurance, investment banking, capital markets, and private equity. It also uses its expertise in the financial services industry to provide market intelligence and management consulting. Founded in 1992 by partners Mike Karp and Bob Reed, The Options Group has offices scattered throughout the world in locations including North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
Options Group was founded in New York in 1992 to provide executive search and talent management services to the financial services industry with an emphasis on technology (e.g., analytics and the complex derivatives business in banks). Our firm grew rapidly into two symbiotic businesses: financial services and technology (and the intersection between these two).
Today, with 14 global offices, Options Group has grown to become the largest independent financial services talent acquisition and management provider in the united states. We have broad, market leading capabilities across 19 segments within the financial services vertical (e.g., Global Markets, Sales and Trading, Wealth Management, Asset Management, Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Private Banking and Hedge Funds), and across all key functions and services (e.g., Technology, Operations, Risk Management, Compliance and Corporate Governance, Cost and Productivity Improvement, Compliance, Risk, Legal, HR, Marketing and Communications). Over the years, we have expanded and deepened all of these capabilities to support our client relationships globally, and with significant resources, we are committed to being market leaders around the world in our chosen segments.
