When Peloton was founded in 2012, at-home fitness wasn’t really a thing in the same way it is now. Our founders recognized the need to innovate on technology trends available in fitness studios — and it was during this time that the Kindle came out, creating a portable, on-demand reading experience. Our founders were inspired and set out on a revolutionary mission to offer immersive fitness classes that could be accessed anytime and anywhere.
