This company feeds the need for news in Hong Kong. SCMP Group publishes the South China Morning Post, the leading English-language newspaper in Hong Kong with a daily circulation of more than 100,000. It also publishes the weekend edition Sunday Morning Post, boasting a circulation of about 80,000. In addition to its own papers, SCMP owns a 20% stake in Post Publishing Public Company, which produces the English-language daily Bangkok Post. SCMP is also active in magazine publishing with Chinese-language versions of Cosmopolitan and Harper's Bazaar, as well as book publishing. The Kerry Group holding company, owned by Robert Kuok, SCMP ex-chairman and one of Asia's richest businessmen, controls the company.
