Triformix makes injection-molded optical components and modules used in communications and imaging applications for fiber optic, computer peripheral, medical device, and instrumentation markets. It also provides design, packaging, tooling, testing, and diagnostic services. Customers include Agilent, Honeywell, and TE Connectivity. Triformix's acquisition of the molded-optics business unit of JDS Uniphase in 2004 tripled its injection molding capabilities. Triformix was founded in 2000 by former CEO Dave Whitney, Russ Stiles (CEO), and Tim March (COO). Triformix investors include American River Ventures, Pacifica Fund, SBV Venture Partners, and Selby Venture Partners. Triformix has offices in Asia and the US.
