Entrevista30 min phone screen. Recruiter was not very knowledgable (or at least not willing to share information) expectations and culture on the sales team. I asked what the hiring manager was looking for (lots of soft skills, empathy, emotional IQ) and was able to respond with specific and (numerous) relatable experiences, examples, and ongoing continuous education. Confirmed multiple times there were no concerns about moving me to next steps. Recruiter verified and was excited to schedule next steps by end of week with the hiring manager. I asked if I should follow up with some bullet points to summarize and they said there's no need. The following week I received a canned/templated message (system generated from their ATS) that said the generalized "there are lots of qualified candidates and we are going in a different direction". Was extremely disappointed in their follow up approach. This is an org I'd be interested to re-apply to, however because of my interview experience and the lack of personalization, I've unsubscribed from their Talent Network.
