At Walmart Canada, we’re very intentional about helping people save money and live better through our commitments to creating opportunity, prioritizing environmental sustainability and lifting up the communities we serve. Through our Women in Retail program, we train and promote women from hourly associates into management roles.
Our investment in energy-efficient stores and distribution centers saves customers money and minimizes our own environmental footprint for generations to come. That sense of responsibility carries into the community, where we support the work of local and national nonprofit organizations in the areas of hunger relief, education and more.

Our Values
Walmart was built on four basic values, and they were first expressed by Sam Walton himself: service to the customer, respect for the individual, striving for excellence and acting with integrity. As our associates will tell you, we still live by these values today.
Descrição Sam Walton opened the first Walmart in 1962 in Rogers, Arkansas with the simple premise of offering quality goods at lower prices. His vision and drive made Walmart the largest retailer in the world and brings value to millions of customers every day, helping them save money and live better.
In 1994, Walmart Canada launched with 122 stores. Twenty-six years later, we’re more than 400 stores strong, employing more than 100,000 people in Canada.

We’re driven by a bold idea: to pave the way forward by creating a better experience for how we move. At Enterprise Mobility, we advance the world, one journey at a time.
Mobility is the driving force that empowers freedom to explore, connect, share ideas and discover new ones. But our idea of mobility is much more than simply getting from A to B. Instead, our focus is on the connections we can help create between people, places and ideas. Across our portfolio, we innovate with intention and put our people first, whether they’re customers, employees, partners and neighbors.
Deeply rooted in our origins, we invest in each other, our communities and every journey. It’s how we grew from a pioneer with a fleet of seven cars to a global mobility leader with more than 90,000 team members throughout the world. And it’s what will continue to drive the future of our business and mobility itself.
