      Prós

      The organization appears to be legitimate and respected to individuals who are not familiar with the questionable actions of senior management. Some of the contractors performed respectable work. Senior management can be very persuasive to unexpecting prospective employees or clients.

      Contras

      Senior management is disillusioned into how to conduct respectable business practice. Massive ethical concerns over the treatment of paying, well-intentioned clients. Concerns for senior management's real motivations behind running the organization (honest work vs. profit margins). Clients are unaware of disappointing practice because secrecy and mystery are used to mystify prospective clients. Promises of CIA matriculation are greatly inflated. There is basically zero long-term retention of employees which is a huge red flag. Employees are either fired at whim or leave upon realization that this "agency" is nothing compared to a "private CIA". Clients are promised the moon and given dirt. Senior management is unaware of the operations of contractors and does not run the company efficiently, with proper transparency, and a slew of other issues that damage the integrity and respectability of the organization.

      Any true intelligence professional would never post a false negative review knowing our organization could find out who they are and we did. A true intelligence professional will discuss their grievances in a quiet professional way and this review shows the lack of integrity and professionalism and why this contractor was fired with cause. We know exactly who this contractor is and legal action will be taken because this review is libel, slander, and simply not true. This contractor is bitter due to being fired because they were not completing projects and other contractors were having to take over and complete. Tactical Rabbit operates with the highest integrity and this post is mainly political. This independent contractor was terminated with cause for a number of reasons but the main one was political bias. Tactical Rabbit contractors must be politically neutral in their work and in this case the CEO is a public figure running for public office and this contractor had a problem with the CEO's politics. The contractor was not fit for the organization.

      Within this internship you develop your open-source intelligence skills as well as your analytical form of writing. Leadership was terrific at Tactical Rabbit and created a welcoming atmosphere. Great for personal and professional development!

      It is a remote based internship, which can be a con for some individuals.

      - There is never a dull moment at Tactical Rabbit, which was founded by the HSBC whistle blower Everett Stern. The fast-paced environment, accountability and nature of the work mean you’ll never be bored with what you’re doing. - Your work is important on both a small and big picture level. I’ve had experiences before where I felt like what I was doing had little meaning, or it was just unclear as to why I was doing what I was being asked to do -- not so at Tactical Rabbit. - Your contributions and efforts here will never go unnoticed or unrecognized. Put in the work and meet the expectations, and you will be rewarded. From doing an 8 pages report for a law firm on critical information derived from an anonymous source, to analyzing raw data for an important advocacy campaign, we seem to have all the great clients. - The CEO really tries to invest in everyone at the company across the board, from interns to analysts. The skills you learn on the job, and in the training paid and provided for by the company, are unparalleled and will really serve you down the line. The opportunity for personal and professional growth is really nice.

      Contras

      - Pretty demanding “always on” culture. Be prepared to receive messages/emails at all hours of the day that you’re expected to respond to. You also won’t be a stranger to tight turnaround times for assignments. And some of the former FBI & CIA agents can be a bit overbearing and demanding. - At the same time not much of a social culture. Although there are opportunities for real teamwork, everyone primarily works in their own lanes doing their own thing especially since Covid.
