1st Interviewer was smart and knows the job description very well. Luckily I answered everything in detail and cleared the interview. The 2nd interviewer "Lokesh Kumar" - started without an introduction (1st time I observed) and the interviewer directly told me “Good time to talk? Are you ready? Maybe we will finish the interview earlier than the allocated time (1 hour) and then we will go for scripting challenge” My answer was “Yes” and then the interviewer – “My first question for you is”. I was surprised that no introduction and the interviewer is directly asking me the questions look like I am playing a game “Who wants to be a millionaire” and the question was about EDR Solutions which I did not mention in my resume. I tried to answer as much as I knew but I told clearly that this is not my skill set and I did not even mention in my resume. Unfortunately, the interviewer does not know anything about AppSec and rejected me without any valid reason. A rejection based on the questions which are not my expertise does not make any sense to me. Conclusion: The interviewer was very rude, unprofessional, and did not follow the Amazon Interview structure. Don’t join a team where a leader is less skilled and has a totally different background.
