Entrevista
I applied online on a weekend. The recruiter for the job called me on Wednesday and did a screening. It was basically a few questions to make sure I was who I said I was on my application and that I could detail a few of my skills. She said the hiring manager should call me by Friday.
He called mid-day Friday, but I couldn't take his call (as I was at my current job). When I was able to call him back, he asked me questions about my work experience for about twenty minutes. Then, he asked if I could come in for a face-to-face interview. It ended up working out that I could come in the next business day.
This "branch" took up a few floors in a small (six-ish stories tall) building just across the 405 highway (South) from downtown Portland. Parking was one level, halfway below street level and they validated it. The reception area was nice, with newer furniture and carpet, and the receptionist was helpful. Everyone had key-card badges and had to "badge" in to enter the doors that went off of the reception area. I was taken down a floor and into an area with a handful of meeting rooms. They were modern and overlooked a nice courtyard that the building kind of a made a U-shape around.
The interview took about an hour and then, he called his director down to ask me questions for another 15-20 minutes. Make sure you know how to explain network basics (IP address, switch, etc.); that caught me off-guard, even though I use them everyday, I don't think about the basic definitions of them.
