Applied for Implementation Project Manager with 2 telephone interviews with HR within 1 week, didn't have any followup communication for 3 weeks than was scheduled face to face with VP. Interview scheduling was double booked with 2 appointments at same time/date by HR representative so VP was confused at beginning. Second round of face to face was 4 weeks later with 2 mid-level managers. Was offered role 3 weeks later only to face background check. Process from beginning to end took 3 months only to discover role wasn't with implementation as applied for.
